A degree in business computing brings together an array of IT and business-related skills to allow students to create a bridge between IT and the world of business. With this knowledge, students are able to understand the business environment within which information systems must operate and to determine the needs of business users and to design and implement IT-based solutions that are suitable for businesses.
You will be able, with your IT expertise, to keep businesses running and create products and services that are competitive. You will learn how to utilize a variety of IT tools including web development, databases and programming. You will also learn the broad IT abilities that employers value, such as collaboration.
The course is closely tied to the industry. Every year guest lecturers from engineering partners as well as IT partners will share their experiences and work with you on real-world briefs. You’ll also have the opportunity to participate in a job placement and choose the time and place depending on website here your interests and career plans.
